One
of the most critical aspect in the framework of the next
generation e+-e- collider is the beam monitoring at the
Interaction Point. It is crucial to have continuous luminosity
measurements allowing for the machine characterization and for
IP feedbacks. The challenge is to provide reliable measures in a
extremely hard environment as far as the background and the
integration configurations are concerned.
In
this framework a workshop is organised in Naples from the 22nd
to the 23rd of November 2012. Different techniques of beam
monitoring and luminosity measurements will be presented
together with the status of the associated detector technology.
The argument will be of particular interest in the context of
the SuperB
project, in Tor Vergata, Rome.
